We have been incorporated since 2003 as Maheshwari Sales Corporation and Sri Vyankatesh Food and Beverages, buying and blending black tea for the Indian market from our base in Indore. For more than two decades the work has been the same: taste every lot, buy only what earns its place, and blend to a standard that does not move.
Periwal & Co. takes that operation to buyers outside India. Same tasters, same stock, same discipline — now blended to the specification of packers and brands across the world.
We do not own tea gardens, and we do not pretend to. Our advantage is breadth: we buy across Assam, Dooars, Terai, Jalpaiguri and Nilgiri, which lets us build almost any black-tea profile at a defensible cost.

A blend is only as good as its weakest lot. Every lot is tasted before purchase and again before blending. If it does not meet the standard, it does not go in.

The tea in your container matches the sample you approved. If we cannot match a brief at your target cost, we tell you before you spend a rupee or a dollar.
